Meet the Principal

Kasey Beckett brings more than two decades of experience in education to her role as Principal of Valor Middle School. A proud member of the East Central ISD family since 2013, she has served in several leadership roles, including Personnel Coordinator, Associate Principal at Heritage Middle School, and Assistant Principal at both Heritage Middle and East Central High School.

Before joining ECISD, Mrs. Beckett began her career in 1997 as a teacher at Southwest ISD, where she later served as Assistant Principal and Academic Dean over a span of 16 years.

She holds a Principal Certification from Texas A&M University–Kingsville and earned her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University.

Mrs. Beckett and her husband Bob, a recently retired member of the San Antonio Fire Department, are proud parents to Ryan and Walker—both graduates of East Central ISD.
